Collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) as a CSR Initiative

As part of our ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Feytech Sdn Bhd proudly collaborated with Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) through a study visit held on 30 March 2026 at Inokom Corporation Sdn Bhd and Feytech Sdn Bhd’s manufacturing facility in Kulim.

The UMPSA delegation was led by esteemed academic leaders, including:
• Prof. Ts. Dr. Sumaiya binti Zainal Abidin @ Murad, Dean of Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP)
• Prof. Ts. Dr. Hamzah bin Ahmad, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE)
• Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Fairusham bin Ghazali, Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA)
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Izwan bin Ismail, Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM)

The visit commenced at Inokom Corporation Sdn Bhd, where participants were introduced to automotive manufacturing processes through a plant tour.

The delegation then proceeded to Feytech Sdn Bhd, where they were warmly received by
Connie Go, Chief Executive Officer, and
Kevin Chua, Chief Operating Officer.

The program at Feytech included a corporate presentation, factory tour, and an engaging Q&A discussion, followed by a networking lunch session.

During the session, both parties explored potential areas of collaboration, including:
• Strategic human capital development in automotive seat components
• Industrial training and structured internship programmes (3-month, 6-month, and 1-year placements)
• Work-Based Learning (WBL) initiatives aligned with academic programmes
• Applied research in materials and manufacturing, particularly in polyurethane (PU) padding chemical formulations
• Joint development in automotive seat design and manufacturing, including future mobility solutions such as autonomous vehicle seating

This collaboration reflects Feytech’s dedication to:
• Supporting education and talent development
• Encouraging knowledge exchange between academia and industry
• Providing internship opportunities for university students
• Advancing technical collaboration, particularly in chemical and material research
